Affectionately named Scooby, this 1957 Karmann Ghia coupe required plenty of meticulously executed repairs.
Some of the metalwork was fabricated from scratch. The original body was definitely worse for wear.
Subsequently, plenty of repairs were needed.
Scooby was fitted with inner race harness mounts, as well as a custom roll cage. This gave it a motorsport look.
The body was painted L375 Antelope Brown with a custom-mixed Burnt Ash on the roof. Scooby also boasted a 198bhp 2332cc Type 1 motor, as well as plenty of performance parts to boot.
