This 1967 Karmann Ghia Coupe was a complete ground-up custom build for Matt Clark.
This particular car spent time in Pennsylvania and Canada and then Cali, so it was in quite a rusty state. This became apparent as we stripped and blasted it.
We cut out the old metal and let in the new, and improved the panel gaps, but other than that there wasn’t much that had been altered on the front.
We installed a GAC Motorsport 2165cc engine (with dual 44 DCNF carbs), and painted it Alfa Romeo Campagnolo Red. As well as that, we overhauled the interior in all-white trim with modern-retro accessories and performance parts. This car is a perfect example of customising to an exacting standard.
