We never pass up a chance to gush about this one…
Affectionately named Scooby, this 1957 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia coupe required plenty of meticulously executed repairs to get it to where it is today.
The original body was definitely worse for wear so some of the metalwork was fabricated from scratch. After lots of TLC, we restored this car back to life.
Scooby was fitted with inner race harness mounts, as well as a custom roll cage. This gave it a motorsport look.
The body was painted ‘L375 Antelope Brown’ with a custom-mixed Burnt Ash on the roof. Scooby also boasted a 198bhp 2332cc Type 1 motor, as well as plenty of performance parts to boot.
